Saraya is gone from All Elite Wrestling.
Saraya will announce on the first episode of her Rulebreakers with Saraya podcast, which releases on Thursday, that she is officially parting ways with AEW, Entertainment Weekly has reported.
"I'm here to tell you that me and AEW's relationship has come to an end. I had an amazing time there. There's no bad blood between us. I had such a magical time," Saraya says on her podcast.
"Thank you, AEW. Thank you to the AEW fans - I loved my f*cking time there. Tony's f*cking awesome. And anyone that goes to work there will just enjoy their time. It's just great. And I'll miss the girls' locker room. I'll miss you, but don't be a f*cking stranger! You know where I am. I see some of you outside the company anyway."
Saraya explained why she decided to part ways with the promotion, noting that she came to the decision after taking time off from October 2024 for personal reasons.
"And then I got to thinking - what is there left for me to do in wrestling right now? Right now, there's really no storylines where I would fit in. It's just me thinking that I just don't fit in right now. I feel like I might be taking someone else's spot, someone who could be doing something really special," Saraya added.
Saraya hasn't ruled out returning to AEW in the future but she also expressed interest in going back to WWE while speaking with Booker T and Brad Gilmore on the Hall of Fame podcast.
After being asked if she would work with WWE again, Saraya said:
"Yeah, so I love WWE and I don’t have any negative feelings towards them, I mean they raised me, they saved me a lot. I just appreciate them so much and the idea of going somewhere else was only because of the potential of my brother being there. That was like a big thing, I just wanted him to be a success in wrestling, you know? I love WWE and I would absolutely - if there was something that they needed from me which was exciting, I would definitely go there. Yeah, absolutely, it would be silly not to. If there’s an opportunity to do something fun, hell yeah, I’ll jump on board."
Saraya previously worked for WWE from 2011 until 2022. She signed with AEW in 2022, coming out of in-ring retirement soon after. She had a short reign as AEW Women's World Champion after winning the belt inside Wembley Stadium at All In 2023.
