Motion Filed To Postpone Jeff Hardy's Pre-Trial Hearing Again

Latest on Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy's attorney has filed a motion to postpone the AEW talent's pre-trial hearing. It was scheduled for December 21 and if the court agrees, it will be pushed back until February 2023.

Within the motion, Hardy's attorney noted efforts to resolve the matter through a plea agreement had yet to be successful, while Jeff's defence counsel also requires additional time to "examine perceived anomalies reflected in the maintenance records and depose the law enforcement witness responsible for intoxilyzer maintenance."

Hardy's pre-trial hearing has already been delayed multiple times, having first been rescheduled in October.

The pre-trial hearing comes after Hardy was arrested on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked or suspended license, and violating restrictions placed on his license on June 13. He pleaded not guilty later that month.

Hardy is currently suspended without pay by All Elite Wrestling and he can only return to the company after he has demonstrated he can maintain his sobriety. Hardy completed a rehabilitation programme following his arrest which was a condition of AEW keeping him under contract.
