Multiple Title Changes At TNA No Surrender
TNA crowned some new champions last night
TNA held their first big show since the controversial firing of Scott D’Amore last night in the form of No Surrender, and it was a show that had some big talking points, most notably in the championship department, as the show held two title changes.
Mustafa Ali made his debut in TNA at No Surrender, taking on Chris Sabin for the X-Division Championship, and he certainly made a statement on his first night in the company. Ali would dethrone Sabin to win his first singles title in a major promotion, after never having won one in WWE. This came in the main event of the show - the first time the belt has headlined a TNA PPV since back in 2005. Sabin’s 10th reign as X-Division Champion comes to an end after 167 days.
No Surrender also saw brand new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions too. MK Ultra (Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly) dethroned the Decay duo of Havok & Rosemary, whose reign lasted a total of 41 days. This is the second reign for MK Ultra, who dropped the titles to Decay back in January at Hard To Kill.
