Murphy Wants Aleister Black At WWE WrestleMania 37

The former WWE Tag Team Champion made the pitch on Twitter

With WWE WrestleMania 37 less than two weeks away you’d assume everything was set in stone for the grandaddy of ‘em all. However, card is always subject to change, especially in WWE, and Murphy has taken to Twitter to try and force his way on to the two-night bill.

The former WWE Tag Team Champion wants to go one-on-one with Aleister Black, Tweeting the following at the former NXT Champion:

“Wonna steal the show’s at #WrestleMania @WWEAleister ?”

Black has recently been seen at WWE Performance Center in a bid to recover from several lingering injuries., having not been featured on WWE programming since October 2020. Murphy has only featured on WWE TV once this year, losing to Cesaro on a recent edition of SmackDown. Before that, his last outing was in December 2020 in a losing effort to King Corbin.

Both stars are seen as ‘forgotten men in WWE’ by many fans, and there is no doubt that they’d put on one hell of a match at WrestleMania if they were given the opportunity and the time, with the two having feuded in 2019.
