Mustafa Ali is 'thankful' for the opportunity being given to both him and Mansoor at WWE Crown Jewel 2021 this week.
In facing each other at the event in Saudi Arabia, Ali and Mansoor will take part in the first singles match between two Muslims on a WWE pay-per-view.
One of the leading names in the fight for representation in WWE, Ali was frustrated when his match with Mansoor at Crown Jewel 2021 wasn't advertised during Friday Night SmackDown last week, but is still grateful for the opportunity to make history with his former tag-team partner.
Writing on social media, Ali said: "Just a reminder, this match is also taking place at #WWECrownJewel despite not being promoted at all at the end of #SmackdownonFS1.
"Though I wish some of the circumstances were different, i’m still thankful that for the first time ever two muslims will have a singles match on a wwe ppv. i’m thankful that for one night, @KSAMANNY and I get to be what we wanted to see growing up."
