Mustafa Ali To Challenge For TNA X-Division Title At No Surrender

Mustafa Ali will make his TNA in-ring debut at the promotion's upcoming No Surrender special on TNA+.

Ali will challenge Chris Sabin for the X-Division Championship at the event in New Orleans on Friday, February 23. This will be Ali's first live appearance for TNA and he has been announced for six TNA shows through the end of March, including TNA Sacrifice on Friday, March 8. 

Ali made his TNA Wrestling debut in a vignette on the January 25 edition of TNA IMPACT. The former SmackDown Hacker has revived his politician gimmick since his WWE release in September 2023 and he will stop in TNA as part of his world tour. 

The world tour has seen Ali pop up in a number of independent wrestling promotions, including PROGRESS, GCW, C4, and Association les Professionnels du Catch in France. 

Chris Sabin is currently in his 10th reign as X-Division Champion, having regained the belt from Lio Rush at IMPACT 1000 on September 14. 

Other matches set for TNA No Surrender include Moose vs. Alex Shelley for the TNA World Championship and Jordynne Grace vs. Gisele Shaw for the TNA Knockouts World Title.
