WWE Officially Changes WrestleMania 40 Start Time

WrestleMania 40 to start at 11:30 pm GMT/6:30 pm ET

WrestleMania 40 will be even earlier than expected.

Reports in recent days had noted that WWE would be bringing forward the WrestleMania 40 start time to 7 pm ET/midnight GMT. WWE pay-per-views/premium live events traditionally begin at 8 pm ET/1 am GMT so the new start time was a welcome change for any fans looking to watch the two nights of WrestleMania in the United Kingdom.

The show time is even earlier, though, and WrestleMania 40 ticket holders have been informed the official start time for both nights of WrestleMania is 6:30 pm ET. Doors for the show will open at 4:30 pm ET.

WrestleMania 40 is set to take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7.

The new start time means WrestleMania 40 will get underway in the United Kingdom at 11:30 pm. The shows typically last four hours so WrestleMania is likely to end around 3:30 am GMT.

Headline matches for WrestleMania will be confirmed on Thursday, February 8. The Rock will make his in-ring return at the event, likely to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. One match already confirmed is Bayley vs. IYO SKY for the WWE Women's Title.
