Streaming giant Netflix is currently developing a new pro wrestling series called Tuesday Night Titans.

Deadline reported that Netflix are in the early stages of development on the drama series, which is being created by former WWE writer Michael Notarile (who worked on the company's creative team between 2013 and 2015). He also has TV writing credits, including The Cleaning Lady and The Resident.

A description of the series reads:

"Set in the spectacle-driven world of professional wrestling, Tuesday Night Titans follows a tenacious writer who risks her career in the big leagues to recruit her estranged childhood best friend – a 'jobber' wrestler on the indies – to join the same behemoth company they idolized in their youth. Their destinies become entangled as they battle personal demons, ruthless colleagues, and their complicated history in an industry where 'kayfabe' – wrestling's staged reality – isn't confined to the ring, but bleeds into every aspect of their lives."

Despite sharing the same name, the series has no affiliation with the late-night WWE talk show which ran for 99 episodes on the USA Network between 1984 and 1986.

Netflix partnered with WWE at the beginning of 2025 as part of a 10-year deal to air Monday Night Raw on the streaming service. SmackDown, NXT, and WWE pay-per-views/premium live events also air on Netflx in many international territories.
