Netflix Still Working On Vince McMahon Docuseries

The Vince McMahon docuseries 'keeps evolving'

Despite previous reports that it had been pulled from the schedule, the Vince McMahon docuseries is still moving forward at Netflix.

An executive producer on the project - The Ringer founder Bill Simmons - recently confirmed that the docuseries was currently in the works.

Speaking about Vince McMahon with Ariel Helwani during a recent episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast, he said "I'm working on this massive docuseries right now about him, which is, obviously, that keeps evolving...".

Simmons didn't talk further about the series (which is being co-produced by WWE). The release date and number of episodes is currently unknown.

The series was first announced during an investors call in October of 2020. Once planned for four parts, WWE CEO Nick Khan revealed in December of 2021 that the documentary was one of the most expensive in Netflix history.

Originally earmarked for a 2022 release, it was shelved in July. A month later, the Wrestling Observer reported that it had been revived with director and executive producer Chris Smith (Tiger King, Fyre) still attached.
