Report: Vince McMahon Netflix Docuseries Pulled From Schedule

The series was reportedly well into post-production

A long-discussed Netflix docuseries on the life and times of Vince McMahon has been pulled, according to a report from Denise Salcedo of F4W Online and Fightful.

Salcedo wrote on Twitter Friday, "Sources tell me that the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary has been pulled & is off the programming spreadsheet at Netflix. A source at Netflix confirmed it no longer being listed on their spreadsheet, another source at Netflix said 'that shit’s out of here'.

"Another source indicated that the project was already “deep” in post-production & that several talent interviews had been done months ago & that millions were spent. I spoke to one of the producers on the project, however they declined to confirm nor deny this story to me."

The report comes on the heels of a Wall Street Journal story published early Friday, which reported that McMahon had spent $12 million in "hush" payments to four different women to "... suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity."

The McMahon docuseries was first announced in October 2020, with Nick Khan claiming it was one of the highest budgeted documentaries in Netflix history. The Ringer's Bill Simmons and Fyre Festival documentary director Chris Smith were listed as executive producers, along with WWE Studios.
