New Faction Forms On WWE Raw

A new faction formed on the July 8 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Damage CTRL were in action on the show as IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, and Kairi Sane defeated Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter. Damage CTRL didn't have long to celebrate, though, as they were laid out by Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, and Sonya Deville. The new trio then took out Chance, Carter, and Valkyria for good measure, although they were primarily focused on beating down Damage CTRL. 

It was revealed later that Zoey Stark called Sonya Deville to form the alliance and Deville's role will seemingly be in a manager role for Stark and Baszler as they look to capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, with current champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre interrupting the segment. 

Deville joining up with Stark and Baszler had been teased since Deville returned from a torn ACL on the May 20 edition of Monday Night Raw, having made her surprise return in a backstage segment with the tag team. 

Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler have been a tag team since the beginning of 2024. They unsuccessfully challenged then-champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles in early June and again at Clash at the Castle when the belts changed hands to Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre.
