New Match Set For WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Nia Jax will have an opportunity to win a championship less than a month after she lost the WWE Women's Title to Tiffany Stratton.

Jax was in action on Monday's edition of Raw, defeating the newest Raw talent in Bayley on the show. Following the match, Rhea Ripley and Jax ended up in a pull-apart brawl, with the Women's World Champion coming out on top following a cannonball from the announce table. This was a continuation of their issues earlier in the night which saw Nia Jax jump Ripley as she entered the arena.

Following the pull-apart brawl, Ripley announced she would defend the Women's World Championship against Jax at Saturday Night's Main Event. The show will be held on January 25 at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Saturday Night's Main Event will air on NBC in the United States and on Netflix in the United Kingdom.

The current card for Saturday Night's Main Event on January 25 is as follows: 

• Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso - World Heavyweight Championship
• Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sheamus - Intercontinental Championship
• Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax - Women's World Championship
• Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman
• Contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for their Undisputed WWE Title match at Royal Rumble moderated by Shawn Michaels
