Corey Graves' absence from WWE programming is set to continue for at least one more week.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there are no plans for Corey Graves to be at tonight's edition of WWE NXT from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Corey Graves was on commentary for NXT New Year's Evil on January 7 but he was off last week's NXT after expressing his unhappiness over being moved from Friday Night SmackDown to Tuesday nights. Graves was legitimately frustrated about the change, with reports noting the former NXT Tag Team Champion had been initially told he would be on SmackDown in the new year alongside Joe Tessitore. Those plans ultimately changed, however.

Graves expressed his unhappiness on social media, which led some in WWE to believe that he was trying to get fired by the company. That reportedly wasn't the case, however, and Graves was instead trying to blur the lines and create some buzz with his tweet.

Corey Graves remains signed to WWE as of the time of writing. Fightful Select noted that Graves has two years left on his deal.
