New Matches Announced For NJPW Windy City Riot 2024

New matches confirmed for NJPW Windy City Riot 2024

New Japan Pro-Wrestling are returning to Chicago on April 12 for Windy City Riot, a show set to be headlined by a huge IWGP World Heavyweight Championship clash between Tetsuya Naito and Jon Moxley.

NJPW have announced several new matches for the show, including the return of Minoru Suzuki. ‘The King of Pro-Wrestling’ is stepping foot in an NJPW ring for the first time in 2024 at Windy City Riot when he takes on Reiwa Musketeer Ren Narita in singles action. Suzuki and Narita are no strangers to one another having formerly teamed as Strong Style alongside El Desperado, but with Narita now part of House of Torture it remains to be seen if Suzuki will approve of the company Narita keeps.

The four teams competing for the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championships have also been confirmed, with TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste, Tom Lawlor & Fred Rosser, and West Coast Wrecking Crew ’s Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs set to challenge The Guerrilas of Destiny (El Phantasmo & Hikuleo) for the straps.
