New Matches Official For AEW Dynamite New Year's Smash

AEW Dynamite New Year's Smash continues to take shape

All Elite Wrestling have added two new matches to the special New Year's Smash edition of Dynamite on Wednesday, December 28.

It was announced during Rampage that ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli and Blackpool Combat Club faction-mate Jon Moxley will team together against Top Flight. This comes after AR Fox and Top Flight won the Christmas Casino Trios Royale on Rampage, last eliminating Castagnoli. Moxley was a part of the match but he was taken out after Hangman Page interfered.

Issues between Top Flight and Blackpool Combat Club also intensified on Dynamite when Moxley defeated Darius Martin.

Furthermore, Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale will take on the Jericho Appreciation Society's Tay Melo and Anna Jay. Ruby Soho picked up a win over Melo in her return match on Dynamite but she was attacked post-match by Jay.

Already official for New Year's Smash is Samoa Joe vs. Wardlow for the TNT Title, Ethan Page vs. Bryan Danielson, and Match Six of the Best of Seven series between The Elite and Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Championships.
