New Matches Set For TNA Genesis 2025

TNA Wrestling are heading into year two of their new era, with the Genesis PPV on January 19 TNA’s first major show of the year.

Heading into the PPV in Garland, Texas’ Curtis Culwell Center, TNA have announced several new matches for the event, with the bouts rubber-stamped on the January 2 edition of TNA IMPACT.

In a first-time-ever meeting, TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys will put their titles on the line against The Rascalz, with Matt and Jeff challenging the team after remarking how they see themselves in Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel. The Hardys last defended the belts in a Tables Match against The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers at Final Resolution in December 2024.

X-Division Champion Moose will also be putting his title on the line, with the cocky ‘Wrestling God’ challenging former champion Ace Austin, after Austin spoke of wanting to win the TNA World Championship to complete the triple crown. Santino Marella made the match official after things got heated between the two, Moose invoking the name of Austin’s injured ABC tag partner Chris Bey.
