The 2024 edition of the Owen Hart Memorial Cup Tournament will be taking place imminently, with the finals scheduled for the July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson announced his intention to win the men’s tournament and go on to main event All In London 2024 at Wembley Stadium to bounce back from several big losses in 2024. On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, the women’s tournament got its very first few announced entrants.

Former TBS Champions and current sworn enemies Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander each made their intentions known to enter the tournament. Statlander’s entry was announced by Stokely Hathaway, who took to the mic after Statlander picked up a dominant victory over Robyn Renegade in singles action. Nightingale, who won last year's tournament, was interviewed backstage and announced her own entry.

Later in the show, AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm defeated Lady Frost, and after the match she convinced Mariah May to enter the Owen Hart Cup, to which the British star agreed.
