A new Young Lion will debut in New Japan Pro-Wrestling later this week. Yuto Nakashima has been at ringside for recent NJPW shows and he will step in the ring for the first time on Sunday's Road To Castle Attack show at Korakuen Hall against fellow Young Lion Yuya Uemura.

Nakashima will wrestle eight more times on the tour against Uemura and other Young Lions Gabriel Kidd and Yota Tsuji.

Nakashima stands at 5' 10 and weighs 95 kg. He took up pro wrestling initially at Bad Luck Fale's school before it became the NJPW New Zealand Dojo and joined the Noge Dojo in June 2020. Nakashima also has a background in MMA, judo, jiu-jitsu and water polo.

Along with the announcement of Nakashima's debut, NJPW revealed the Castle Attack cards. Four championships and the Provisional KOPW 2021 Trophy will be on the line across the two shows on February 27 and February 28, including the IWGP Intercontinental Title which will be solely defended for the first time since Wrestle Kingdom 14.
