The 2022 Sacrifice card continues to take shape.

IMPACT Wrestling have announced the X-Division Championship will be on the line at the March 5 IMPACT Plus special and Trey Miguel will defend his title against Jake Something.

Something earned a shot at the gold at Saturday's No Surrender special when he defeated Chris Bey, Ace Austin and 'Speedball' Mike Bailey in a Four-Way number one contender's match.

While they have not faced off in singles action in IMPACT Wrestling, Miguel and Something have went one-on-one before in independent wrestling promotions AAW and Warrior Wrestling, with their last match against each other taking place in August of 2021.

Something has twice unsuccessfully challenged for the X-Division Championship, losing to Rohit Raju in November of 2020 and Josh Alexander in August of 2021.

Already set for Sacrifice is what has been billed as a "dream match" between the returning Alex Shelley and Bullet Club's Jay White. The IInspiration will also defend the Knockouts World Tag Team Title against The Inspiration.
