New TNT Champion Crowned On AEW Dynamite

AEW have a new TNT Champion!

Hot potato continued with the TNT Championship on Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Sammy Guevara defended the title against former champion Scorpio Sky in a Ladder Match in the main event of Dynamite.

Both men fought back and forth in a match that featured plenty of interference from the likes of Dan Lambert, Paige VanZant, and Tay Conti.

Sammy Guevara managed to survive being thrown into a ladder covered in barbed wire down the stretch but Sky managed to knock the TNT Champion from the ladder underneath the title belt and the challenger reached up moments later to begin his second TNT Title reign.

Following the match, Frankie Kazarian came to the ring and the former SCU members briefly showed each other respect, hinting at possible dissension within The Men Of The Year.

With Sky's win on Dynamite, Sammy Guevara's third TNT Title reign comes to an end after only 12 days. The Spanish God regained the championship on April 15 at Battle Of The Belts, defeating Sky for the gold in a straight singles match.
