AEW World Title Match Set For Double Or Nothing

AEW World Title match is official for Double Or Nothing

The AEW World Championship match has been set for Double Or Nothing.

All Elite Wrestling announced on Dynamite following the opening contest between Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler that CM Punk will challenge Hangman Page for the AEW World Title on May 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada. No other matches have been booked for the pay-per-view as of yet.

Punk was on commentary for the FTR collision and The Second City Saviour grabbed a microphone following the contest and he promised to fight at Double Or Nothing "until the wheels come off."

The 43-year-old has been making a belt motion around his waist since he defeated MJF in a Dog Collar Match at Revolution and Punk finally came face-to-face with Hangman Page last week, hinting they would indeed face off at Double Or Nothing.

Hangman Page has been AEW World Champion since he defeated Kenny Omega for the gold at Full Gear in November 2021. He has so far successfully defended the title against Bryan Danielson, Dante Martin, Lance Archer, and Adam Cole.
