ROH World Television Title Match Set For AEW Rampage

Samoa Joe will put the ROH World Television Championship on the line for the first time

The Ring of Honor World Television Championship will be on the line on the April 29 edition of AEW: Rampage, as Champion Samoa Joe defends the gold against Trent Beretta.

Joe looking for his first successful defence of the TV Title after defeating Minoru Suzuki for the strap on the April 13 Dynamite, with this match against Trent a first time ever meeting of the two.

This will also be Trent’s first shot at an ROH singles title since he unsuccessfully challenged then ROH World Champion Dalton Castle and Beer City Bruiser in a three-way match at ROH/NJPW Honor Rising: Japan 2018 in Korakuen Hall.

Also set for Rampage is an Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament qualifier between Darby Allin and Swerve Strickland, and Jade Cargill’s Baddies Section will be in trios action, amongst other matches.
