NFL Coach Urban Meyer: Tony Khan Is Building AEW Into A Powerhouse

Meyer coaches the Jacksonville Jaguars, also owned by the Khan family

NFL coach Urban Meyer has taken to Twitter to proclaim that Tony Khan is turning All Elite Wrestling into a ‘powerhouse’.

Meyer, who coaches the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, shared his opinion alongside a picture of himself, Khan, and ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson at Daily’s Place.

Meyer said: “Met The Champ @MikeTyson! @TonyKhan is building @AEW in to a powerhouse #AEWDyanmite #OwnIt.”

Tony Khan’s father Shahid Khan has been owner of the Jaguars since 2011, and AEW have been running Dynamite from the Jags’ Daily’s Place Stadium in Florida throughout the Covid-19 era.

Tyson made his return to AEW on the April 7 edition of AEW: Dynamite, fighting The Pinnacle alongside The Inner Circle, with Iron Mike personally peppering Shawn Spears with a flurry of punches in the corner of the ring. Tyson is also scheduled to appear on the April 14 edition of Dynamite, serving as the special guest ringside enforcer for Chris Jericho’s match against The Pinnacle’s Dax Harwood.
