Nick Aldis Refuses To Confirm Or Deny Rumours Of WWE Interest

Nick Aldis tightlipped about WWE rumours

Since exiting IMPACT Wrestling following his main event loss to IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley at Slammiversary in July, Nick Aldis has been consistently linked with a move to WWE.

The ‘National Treasure’ has reportedly been earmarked for a potential backstage role in WWE, but during an appearance on K100 with Konnan, Aldis said he "cannot confirm or deny” such rumours.

Aldis exit from IMPACT came just months after his acrimonious departure from the NWA, with Aldis revealing that the storied organisation owes him money:

“I don’t want to air dirty laundry laundry, but [Pat Kenney] showed his true colours with my exit from NWA. I don’t want to get into it too much, but they owe me money, and it’s probably never gonna come. I felt betrayed by Pat, and I’ll just leave it at that," Aldis said.

A former TNA/IMPACT World Champion, Aldis made his return to the organisation at Rebellion in April, embarking on a short programme in IMPACT’s main event scene before departing the company.
