Nick Aldis Reveals Post-NWA Plans

Nick Aldis on what's next

After several years as the promotion's top star, Nick Aldis will leave the National Wrestling Alliance in January 2023 after giving his notice to the company. He has since been suspended by the NWA and he missed the recent Hard Times 3 pay-per-view.

Where Nick Aldis will go next ultimately remains to be seen and The National Treasure revealed to Sportskeeda that he plans to test free agency after his contract expires.

"Free agency. That's it, dude. I know it's been suggested that there must be something else. Truthfully, I want to explore free agency. I just want to be free of a contract and a certain brand commitment, a sort of branding of any kind for a minute and just see what comes next," Aldis said.

Speculation has suggested Aldis could wind up in WWE, with reports noting it would ultimately be a Triple H decision.

The 36-year-old also recently explained why he is leaving the National Wrestling Alliance. Find out more here
