Nick Khan Claims WWE Creative Is 'Months Ahead' Of WrestleMania 39

Nick Khan on WWE creative's planning after WrestleMania 39

WWE are well into their planning for after WrestleMania 39, according to the company's CEO Nick Khan.

Speaking on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Khan revealed WWE creative are in fact "months ahead" of WrestleMania 39, which will emanate from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 1 and April 2.

"Months in advance. Months, months, months in advance. If you said now, 'Where is the creative team with their process?' They are months ahead of WrestleMania. Obviously, a huge focus on Saturday and Sunday to make sure we can execute what the plan is, but they're months ahead and they know that's the way it should be because 52 weeks a year, three to four programmes a week, if you're not months ahead, you're going to get caught," Khan said.

The WWE CEO also revealed the company employs between 50 to 75 writers and producers to help with creative. Chief Content Officer Triple H remains the official head of creative but rumours have suggested Vince McMahon's influence on creative matters has grown since his return to the organisation in January 2023.
