NJPW & IMPACT Joint Show Set For WrestleMania 39 Weekend

IMPACT and NJPW announce a major show for WrestleMania Weekend

New Japan Pro-Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling will come together for a joint show over WWE WrestleMania 39 weekend. Both promotions have announced that Multiverse United: Only The STRONG Survive will air live on FITE TV pay-per-view from the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, March 30.

The show will pit IMPACT talents against New Japan wrestlers. Matches announced for the event so far include Josh Alexander vs. KUSHIDA, "Speedball" Mike Bailey vs. Will Ospreay, and Jeff Cobb vs. Moose. IMPACT talents confirmed for the show include Trey Miguel, Ace Austin, Chris Bey, and several Knockouts, while the likes of Minoru Suzuki, Rocky Romero, KENTA, Clark Connors, Kevin Knight, and Fred Rosser from NJPW will be in action.

Scott D'Amore said: "We are very excited for this unique collaborative event that brings together two of the best wrestling companies in the world. Since NJPW returned to AXS TV just over a year ago, we have been looking at ways to expand our working relationship between the two brands. Multiverse United on March 30th at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles is the first of many exciting collaborations between IMPACT and NJPW."

IMPACT and NJPW started working together again in late 2020 and several talents have appeared in both promotions over the past three years.
