NJPW & STARDOM Announce Joint Event

A joint show with NJPW and STARDOM has been announced

Pro Wrestling NOAH and All Elite Wrestling won't be the only promotions NJPW have done co-promoted events with in 2022.

In celebration of 15 years of Bushiroad, it was announced at a special press conference today that New Japan Pro-Wrestling and STARDOM will hold a joint event on Sunday, November 20, at Tokyo's Ariake Arena.

This will be the first time NJPW and STARDOM have held a show at the 15,000-seat venue, which was constructed for the Tokyo Olympics.

Bushiroad is the parent company of both NJPW and STARDOM. The company bought New Japan in 2012 and acquired the Joshi promotion in 2019.

STARDOM talent have performed at NJPW's dome shows since January 2020 beginning with Wrestle Kingdom 14 and wrestlers from the Joshi promotion competed on the main Wrestle Kingdom card for the first time earlier this year when Saya Kamitani and Tam Nakano defeated Starlight Kid and Mayu Iwatani.

As part of Wrestle Kingdom 16, NJPW held a joint event with Pro Wrestling NOAH that pitted both promotions against each other. AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will also take place later this month on June 26 at Chicago's United Center.
