NJPW G1 Climax 34 Playoffs Revealed

Following the conclusion of block matches on Wednesday, August 14, the playoffs of NJPW G1 Climax 34 have been determined. 

The A Block quarter-final match will see Shingo Takagi go one-on-one with Great-O-Khan. The winner of that match will take on Zack Sabre Jr. in the semi-finals, with ZSJ advancing to the final four due to topping the A Block with 14 points. 

In the A Block quarter-final, All Elite Wrestling's Konosuke Takeshita will face off with Yota Tsuji, the man he defeated in the opening round of A Block matches. The winner of the match will square off with IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion David Finlay in the semi-finals. Finlay finished top in the B Block with 12 points. 

The quarter-finals will take place on Thursday, August 15 ahead of the semi-finals on Saturday, August 17.

The G1 Climax will conclude on Sunday, August 18 with the final inside Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan. 

Two stars were absent from G1 Climax 34 in Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii. The Stone Pitbull has been a part of All Elite Wrestling during the Summer and his in-ring work has been praised internally.
