Stipulation Planned For Unannounced WWE Bash In Berlin Match

WWE Bash in Berlin to have a stipulation match

A stipulation match is planned for WWE Bash In Berlin.

According to Ibou of WrestlePurists, multiple sources within WWE have stated that a Strap Match is planned for Bash in Berlin. The two men in that Strap Match will be CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.

A Strap Match between Punk and McIntyre was teased on the August 12 edition of Monday Night Raw, with Punk repeatedly whipping McIntyre with a belt on the show. Punk and McIntyre have been feuding since January, although their first match at SummerSlam received such a mixed reception that Punk's obsession with his bracelet has been dropped from the angle altogether.

The programme between Punk and McIntyre is planned to continue beyond Bash in Berlin and they are scheduled to main event October's Bad Blood pay-per-view in another stipulation match

WWE Bash in Berlin will take place at Berlin's Uber Arena on Saturday, August 31. The advertised card is as follows:

  • Gunther (c) vs. Randy Orton - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens - Undisputed WWE Championship
  • Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley vs. Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan
