NJPW held their New Beginning In Nagoya show today, and it proved to be one of several endings and emotional goodbyes.
Following the announcement that Kazuchika Okada would be leaving NJPW at the end of this month, this marked the final time he would be in Nagoya, so he issued a farewell to fans after his match. Additionally, Tama Tonga’s loss to EVIL in the main event of the show marked what could be his last time in Nagoya too, as he also announced that he would be leaving the company soon. He too would issue an emotional goodbye to the fans when standing in the middle of the ring. New Beginning In Nagoya was a show of matches that didn’t quite reach the expected standard for NJPW shows, but it did feature some notable moments titles changing hands.
