NWA Reality Series Confirmed

The NWA reality series has been confirmed

Although there has been no official announcement from the promotion, the National Wrestling Alliance's Samantha Starr has confirmed a reality series focusing on the NWA is indeed in the works.

Starr told Perched On The Top Rope:

"For myself and the rest of the roster, we have been plugging and pushing and trudging along on YouTube and using FITE TV for our pay-per-views. But, for this nationwide and in some cases worldwide platform, it is a huge opportunity to put the NWA on the map and compete with the top companies in the world (Starr said about NWA signing two TV deals). So, for myself, I am over the moon excited. We've got the reality show that we've been filming off and on for almost a year now and then we also have the wrestling platform as well so huge things coming from NWA in the very near future."

Billy Corgan initially announced that NWA had signed two TV deals, with reports later revealing the deals were with The CW for NWA Powerrr and a reality TV show about the day-to-day running of the promotion. The deal between NWA and The CW is expected to be announced "relatively soon."

Samantha Starr was in action at NWA's recent Samhain pay-per-view as she won a four-way number one contender's match on the pre-show. She will challenge Kenzie Paige for the NWA World Women's Championship at a future show.
