NXT New Year's Evil 2024 Announced

During last night’s NXT Deadline premium live event, the next big show was announced for the developmental brand for next month, kicking off 2024 with a special edition of NXT television.

As announced by Booker T and Vic Joseph on commentary, New Year’s Evil 2024 will be a TV special on NXT programming, taking place on January 2, which will be the fourth yearly iteration of this event. The two winners of the Iron Survivor matches at NXT Deadline - Trick Williams and Blair Davenport - each earned a championship match at NXT Deadline last night, and they will challenge Ilja Dragunov and Lyra Valkyria respectively for the NXT Men’s and Women’s Championships at New Year’s Evil.

This will serve as a stepping stone on the way to the NXT Vengeance Day premium live event the following month on February 4, 2024. The most recent New Year’s Evil event saw Dijak defeat Tony D’Angelo, Jinder Mahal outlast Julius Creed, Bron Breakker defeat Grayson Waller in an NXT Championship match, and Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne both emerge victorious in a number one contenders battle royal.
