NXT Title Number One Contenders Match Set For 14 September WWE NXT

A fatal-4-way match to determine Samoa Joe's next challenger

The first challenger to Samoa Joe and his NXT Championship will be determined on next week's show.

It was confirmed by general manager William Regal on the September 7 episode of NXT that the 14 September program - a return to live production for the brand - will feature a Fatal-4-Way Match to name the number one contender to the NXT Championship.

Tommaso Ciampa, LA Knight, Pete Dunne and Kyle O'Reilly will battle it out next Tuesday with the winner going on to face Joe for the NXT Title.

Of the four combatants, only Ciampa has previously held the NXT Title. Dunne and O'Reilly have competed for the brand's biggest prize this year, with both taking on Finn Balor in singles action and Karrion Kross in a multi-man match at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

The September 14 NXT will be the first in a new look and feel for WWE's third brand, with a change in production and vision for the division.
