NXT Women's Championship Match Set For September 14 WWE NXT

Raquel Gonzalez's next NXT Women's Championship defence has been confirmed for next week.

During the September 7 episode of the black-and-gold brand, Robert Stone informed Franky Monet that she will get her opportunity to take the NXT Women's Title from Gonzalez on next week's show.

Monet initially confronted Gonzalez on the August 24 episode of NXT and told her she was looking to take the spotlight for herself, and now the match has been confirmed for next week's NXT, a show which will also see the brand return to live programming. 

The September 14 episode of NXT has already confirmed a Fatal-4-Way Match between Tommaso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, Kyle O'Reilly and LA Knight to determine the number one contender to Samoa Joe's NXT Title. The episode will also play host to Dexter Lumis' and Indi Hartwell's wedding.

Next week's NXT will be the first in what is being billed as a new direction for the brand, complete with a new set design, production and more.
