Oba Femi Issues Warning To The Rock For Taking His Time On NXT

On the most recent episode of NXT, Oba Femi picked up the biggest victory of his entire WWE career as he defeated Trick Williams to become the brand new NXT Champion, adding to his list of accomplishments, previously reigning as the NXT North American Champion. Neither Oba Femi’s title win nor Giulia’s NXT Women’s Title win managed to make it into the main event spot on the card, as that was reserved for The Rock, who made an appearance on NXT.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Femi issued a warning to the ‘Final Boss’ for stealing the spotlight on the night. 

"At the moment the time was being stolen from me, I wasn't even aware it was being stolen from me. Maybe if I knew, I would have gone up to him and been like, 'Hey, Uncle Dwayne, what are you doing?' I'll let it slide this time, but next time Uncle Dwayne comes in and steals time from me, there are going to be problems.”

The Rock’s return to WWE programming over the last week saw him squash his beef with Cody Rhodes and endorse Roman Reigns as Tribal Chief, with reports suggesting that both The Rock and WWE are unsure when or if he will wrestle again.
