Owen Hart Cup Returning To AEW

The finals for the 2024 AEW Owen Hart Cup will be in July

Back in 2022, the Owen Hart Cup made its debut in AEW, with both men’s and women’s tournaments taking place, all leading up to the finals taking place at the Double Or Nothing PPV. This was pushed back in 2023, with the opening rounds being featured after the PPV and the subsequent finals taking place on weekly AEW programming, as Ricky Starks defeated CM Punk on an episode of Collision. Heading into Double Or Nothing 2024, there was zero word on the tournament.

However, it has been reported by The Calgary Sun that the finals for both men’s and women’s Owen Hart Tournaments will be held on Wednesday, July 10 when AEW heads to the Scotiabank Saddledome for a double header of a live Dynamite and a taped Collision. It was revealed that Martha Hart will once again be in attendance to crown the respective winners. This gives AEW just over a month to host both men’s and women’s brackets in full.

As of yet, no dates for the other tournament matches not participants have been announced. In the past, Adam Cole, Ricky Starks, Britt Baker, and Willow Nightingale have won the Owen Hart Cup.
