Paul Heyman Believes He Will Bump Into MJF At Some Point

Paul Heyman to link up with MJF?

MJF hasn't been afraid to discuss his AEW contract in interviews, with The Salt Of The Earth recently noting that he won't re-sign with Tony Khan's promotion before 2024 unless they offer him an "astronomical" amount of money. This will ultimately lead to what MJF believes would be the biggest bidding war in wrestling between WWE and AEW over his services.

Paul Heyman was recently asked about MJF during an appearance on Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour and the former ECW owner noted it wasn't a bad idea for MJF to talk about his contract so publicly.

"For his perspective, no. In his position, no. Where he's working right now, no. Where he wants to work in the future, no. It's not bad business at all. For what he obviously views his trajectory to be, for what he obviously views his future to be, not bad business at all. Pretty smart, I would say. Pretty smart," Heyman said.

Roman Reigns' special counsel then admitted he thinks he will bump into MJF at some point in The Salt Of The Earth's life.

"Aligning myself with him? We're a long way...right now, he's in a very enviable spot in an upstart promotion that has tremendous financing and excellent distribution. Let's see what the future holds for him. I'm sure, at some point in his life, we're going to bump into each other," Heyman added.

MJF may well end up in WWE when his AEW deal comes to an end and recent reports have noted Friedman is frustrated with his AEW contract as Tony Khan's promotion have signed new talent who are earning way more than the Dynamite Diamond Ring holder.
