Paul Wight Returning To OVW

I wonder if he's charging the James Storm 'brother fee'?

AEW star Paul Wight will be making a guest appearance at tomorrow's Ohio Valley Wrestling show.

The promotion announced that Wight will be appearing on the show, which will air live on FITE. The release of Netflix docuseries 'Wrestlers' has lead to an immediate boost in OVW's business.

The last time Wight set foot in an OVW ring was in 2006, when he defeated The Miz at the Six Flags Summer Sizzler Series.

The 51-year-old was infamously shipped off to OVW (then a WWE developmental territory) in 2000 in order to lose weight and correct perceived attitude issues. While stationed in Louisville, Kentucky, The World's Largest Athlete worked with future stars like Brock Lesnar and Batista.

Wight was featured on the September 27 edition of AEW Dynamite, showing up in his Captain Insano guise during a vignette with MJF and Adam Cole.

Not long prior to that, the former WWE Champion was named in a performance-enhancing drugs probe. It was alleged that Wight was supplied with PEDs in 2009 and 2010. Wight's attorney stressed via a statement that his client had never failed drug test and denied that he had ever used PEDs.
