Sammy Guevara To Miss AEW Dynamite

Latest on Sammy Guevara's recovery from a concussion ahead of AEW Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling will be without a hometown talent for tonight's edition of Dynamite from Rosenberg, Texas.

Sammy Guevara, who is from nearby Houston, was hoping to be back in action on tonight's show but the three-time TNT Champion has revealed he is yet to be cleared for an in-ring return.

"Good news, bad news. Bad news I'm not cleared yet. Good news everyday I'm feeling better. Sorry Houston I really wanted to put on a show for y'all. Hopefully next time. Also F**k Chris Jericho," Guevara tweeted.

Guevara has been out of action since he sustained a concussion at the WrestleDream pay-per-view on October 1. Guevara scored the winning pinfall for his team against Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi. Guevara was initially scheduled to wrestle on the October 4 edition of Dynamite but he was pulled from the event due to his injury.

Although he won't be on Dynamite this week, Guevara is expected to be back in the ring "relatively soon."
