EC3 Reveals Past Talks With AEW

EC3 to AEW?!

In another world, EC3 may have been All Elite.

Speaking on the Kurt Angle Show, EC3 revealed that he previously held talks with All Elite Wrestling but the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion was signed with Ring of Honor at the time.

"I talked with them a little bit before, but I was signed with Ring of Honor. By that time, the internet tried to cancel me for a bunch of bulls**t that wasn't true. I think Tony Khan legitimately thought I was whatever the internet said I was at the time, which is pretty unfortunate considering people listen to lies, and therefore their finances or personal lives are dependent on the opinions of a mob that doesn't know what they're talking about," said EC3.

EC3 didn't directly address what exactly the internet said he was but he has been a controversial talent in recent years due to his past Control Your Narrative promotion. He previously worked for Ring of Honor in 2020 and 2021, with his final appearance coming at ROH Final Battle 2021, which was the final show under Sinclair Broadcast Group's ownership. Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor in March 2022.

EC3 now finds himself in the National Wrestling Alliance and he is the reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. He will defend the belt against Thom Latimer on October 28 at the Samhain pay-per-view.
