Penta Reacts To WWE Seeing 'Something Truly Special' In Him

Penta has been a hit in WWE ever since making his debut last month, going on a winning streak, emerging as the Iron Man of the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match, and gaining more fans by the week. Reports suggested that those behind the scenes in WWE see ‘something truly special’ in the former AEW World Tag Team Champion, and that the company has been impressed with his merchandise sales. 

In an interview with CBS Sports, Penta was asked about this reported story, seeking his reaction to the news that WWE saw something special in him. 

"It's very surprising for me. Last night someone called me to tell me how many of my masks WWE sold. I said, 'Wow! Really? This number?!' I remember 20 years ago when I started this dream. The most important thing was I never doubted my talent, passion or anything. Now I'm living the dream."

Penta also spoke on the prospect of being the ‘next Rey Mysterio’, stating that this wasn’t the legacy he wanted to follow, and instead wanted to establish himself as the ‘first Penta’.
