Potential Location Of WWE WrestleMania 43 Revealed

Plans coming together for WWE WrestleMania 43

WrestleMania 43 is five years away but WWE are seemingly already putting preliminary plans together for the event.

According to the Nashville Tennessean, CEO of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp. Butch Spyridon has been given a verbal commitment by WWE that WrestleMania will take place in Nashville in 2027 if a new enclosed stadium is built in time.

"The minute the mayor's office and the Titans released the stadium term sheet, we started looking for opportunities. WWE had an incredible experience at Nissan Stadium this past summer, and we started talking. WrestleMania is considered the No. 6 top sports event brand in the world, and we are grateful for their confidence and belief in Nashville," Spyridon said.

WWE issued the following statement: "Nashville has exploded as a cultural center in the United States and as the land of opportunity. WWE looks forward to hosting many events in partnership with the great city of Nashville at the proposed enclosed stadium."

WWE held SummerSlam in Nashville earlier this year at Nissan Stadium.

WWE have plans for the next two WrestleManias finalised, with WrestleMania 39 set to emanate from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. WrestleMania 40 will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Lincoln Financial Field.
