WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide will hold their first event together on Saturday, June 7 as WWE NXT x AAA Worlds Collide will emanate from the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California as a matinee event before WWE Money in the Bank.

No wrestlers have been announced for the show as of yet beyond that the likes of El Hijo del Vikingo and the new La Parka were featured in promotional materials for Worlds Collide. A further sign on which AAA talents could be working the show has since emerged, though, as On Location has begun advertising a meet and greet for Worlds Collide. Along with Rey Fenix and El Hijo del Vikingo, Pagano and Psycho Clown are also planned for the meet and greet, suggesting they will be in action in some capacity at Worlds Collide.

WWE announced the acquisition of AAA during WrestleMania 41 weekend, with the deal set to be completed later this year. WWE will own 51 per cent of AAA, while Fillip will own the remaining 49 per cent.

While the acquisition has yet to be completed, WWE have already added Jeremy Borash to the AAA creative team. The company has also signed several AAA wrestlers, including Alberto Del Rio.
