Oh my God, is that new AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party? Zay and Quen have finally done it, defeating The Young Bucks to win the gold on Fight Night Dynamite.

It wasn’t just the titles on the line in Cleveland, Ohio, with Private Party vowing to disband if they couldn’t beat The Bucks at the second time of asking, with Matthew and Nicholas Jackson having successfully defended the belts against Private Party at WrestleDream.

The AEW EVPs looked to have it in the bag once more when they set Zay up for a TK Driver, only Zay to hit a poison Frankensteiner before regrouping with Quen to hit Gin N Juice for the 1-2-3, ending The Young Bucks’ divisive third reign at the 191 day mark.

AEW President Tony Khan later took to X/Twitter to congratulate the new champs, saying the win was ‘five years in the making’.

Post by Tony Khan on X/Twitter that reads: Congratulations again and thank you to the new AEW World Tag Team Champions @ZayKassidy + @Marq_Quen Private Party! Tonight was over 5 years in the making! Tonight was an incredible night of @AEWonTV , and Private Party vs @youngbucks was a classic #AEWDynamite match once again!

Private Party now enter the history books as the 12th team in AEW history to hold the titles, with only FTR and The Bucks having more than one run with the gold.
