A Pro Wrestling NOAH talent could be set to make appearances on WWE NXT.
It was revealed in a social media video that Yoshiki Inamura has been training at the WWE Performance Center with the likes of Josh Briggs. Inamura was welcomed to the facility by Matt Bloom and WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels.
Michaels tweeted: "I'm excited to welcome @noah_ghc Wrestler @noah_yoshiki to #WWENXT. This hard-hitting young man is going to be a problem for anyone he steps in the ring with. I look forward to growing NXT's partnership with @noahglobal in the future. #WWENXT."
Inamura has been a part of NOAH since 2018. He wrestled as YOICHI for wXw and PROGRESS Wrestling in 2023 and 2024 which included a reign as PROGRESS Atlas Champion. Inamura returned to his original name after losing a GHC Heavyweight Title match to Kaito Kiyomiya in July 2024.
WWE and NOAH have been partnered in recent years. The likes of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs have wrestled for NOAH over the past couple of years. Nakamura will return to NOAH on January 1 to face former MMA fighter Ulka Sasaki.
