Public Funeral To Be Held For 'Mr Wonderful' Paul Orndorff

Orndorff sadly passed away on Monday

Paul Orndorff's son has confirmed that the family will hold a public funeral for the former WWE superstar, who sadly passed away earlier this week.

The iconic 'Mr Wonderful' Paul Orndorff passed away on Monday at the age of 71 with his son Travis confirming the sad news on social media.

One of professional wrestling's legendary bad buys, Orndorff established himself as one of the most respected workers in the business and, as such, fellow performers and fans alike have expressed their love for The Master Of The Piledriver on social media.

Travis has taken to Instagram to announce there will be a public funeral for Orndorff on Saturday 17 July with the service being held at New Hope First Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia.

He wrote: "Funeral arrangements are being finalized but we will have a public funeral at the North campus at New Hope First Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Ga. at 11 a.m on Saturday July 17th.

"A huge thank you to @hughkirby and @ikereighard. Dr. Ike lead my father to Christ many years ago and we are honored that he will be delivering his memorial. Additional details to follow."
