Stephanie Vaquer's undisclosed illness is reportedly "nothing terribly serious" but it has yet to be determined when she could make a return to WWE programming.
That is according to Dave Meltzer, who said on Wrestling Observer Radio: "She’s ill. I was told it’s nothing terribly serious or anything but she’s ill and she’s out… Indefinitely in the sense that it’s not like it's a week. It’s something that’s indeterminate yet as far as when she’ll be back."
Stephanie Vaquer was scheduled to face Becky Lynch in a number one contender's match for the WWE Women's World Championship on the October 26 episode of Monday Night Raw but it was announced on the show that the match was off as Vaquer was not medically cleared to compete.
It was then reported that Vaquer's absence was unrelated to an injury and it was believed to be illness-related, with Vaquer out "indefinitely" because of the illness.
Vaquer's most recent match took place on October 17 during WWE's house show tour of Hawaii. Vaquer has not wrestled on television since dropping the WWE Women's World Title back to Liv Morgan in a Triple Threat also featuring Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank on October 10.
