Stephanie Vaquer may not be back on WWE programming any time in the near future, it has been revealed.

WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced during the October 26 episode that Vaquer was not medically cleared to compete. This resulted in her number one contender's match for the WWE Women's World Championship against Becky Lynch being scrapped, with Lynch instead moving on to face Liv Morgan in a title match later in the show.

Vaquer's situation is not simply a WWE storyline, however. PWInsider has reported that Vaquer is legitimately not cleared to perform and the issue is believed to be illness-related. False Finish noted that Vaquer will be on the shelf "indefinitely" with the undisclosed illness.

Stephanie Vaquer has not wrestled since WWE's house shows in Hawaii on October 16 and October 17. Prior to this, Vaquer dealt with a brief ankle injury following Money in the Bank, where she dropped the WWE Women's World Championship back to Liv Morgan.

Vaquer has suffered from an injury hampered 2026 overall. She was out of action for several months following WrestleMania 42 with a grade two AC sprain, although she was cleared well before her eventual return on the post-SummerSlam edition of Monday Night Raw.
