Pure Title Match & More Set For ROH TV

Wheeler Yuta will defend the ROH Pure Championship on next week's edition of ROH TV on HonorClub.

The Blackpool Combat Club member was in action on the Thursday, March 9 episode of ROH TV as he put his belt on the line against Timothy Thatcher. Following his victory, Yuta called out members of New Japan Pro-Wrestling's LA Dojo, which was answered by Clark Connors. Connors challenged Yuta to a Pure Title match on next week's show, mentioning Katsuyori Shibata in the process. 

Yuta initially appeared reluctant to accept the challenge but ultimately did so to set up next week's title clash. 

Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal will also team together for the first time in 16 years next week. The Fallen Angel appeared on Thursday's show and announced his plans to go after the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Daniels acknowledged he couldn't team with Frankie Kazarian again, though, so he decided to reform his team with Matt Sydal. Daniels and Sydal previously teamed together in Ring of Honor from August 2006 until March 2007, during which they had one reign as ROH World Tag Team Champions.

RUSH and Dralistico of La Faccion Ingobernable will be in tag team action on next week's ROH TV too.
